How to play

What players learn
Percentages as “out of 100”, fractions and decimals as percentages, discounts and reverse percentages, adding prices and giving change, profit and loss and percentage profit, simple and compound interest, and adding or removing VAT.
For teachers and parents
Market Day supports percentages, profit and loss, simple interest and commercial arithmetic in upper Primary, JSS and SSS Mathematics (including WAEC), and everyday money skills for adults. Prices are made up for practice.
